Privacy and data choices

Privacy Policy

This policy explains which data can arise from browsing, accounts, listings and reports, why it is used, and how to request access, correction or deletion.

Data connected to site features

The site does not collect the same information from every visitor. Basic requests may create IP, device, browser, requested URL, time and security log records. Account tools may use a name, email, password hash and account role. Listings can contain the display name, media, description, location and contact details submitted for publication. Reports can include your contact details, statements, URLs and evidence.

Purposes and lawful handling

Information is used to deliver pages, remember requested preferences, authenticate account holders, moderate content, prevent abuse, answer reports and comply with applicable obligations. Data should not be reused for an unrelated purpose without an appropriate basis and notice.

Cookies and analytics

Functional cookies may remember age confirmation, session state, language, currency, consent, favourites or sorting. Optional analytics should be disclosed through the consent interface before non-essential tracking is activated.

Public content and disclosure

Listing information becomes public only when it is submitted for publication and passes the applicable workflow. Private account and report data is not intended for public display. Limited disclosure may be made to hosting, security or communication providers, authorized administrators and advisers, or authorities when required by law or necessary to address a serious safety risk.

Retention, access and correction

Retention depends on the feature, security need, moderation record, dispute and applicable obligation; one invented deadline would not fit every record. You may ask for access, correction or deletion through the form below. Identity or control of the relevant account or URL may need to be verified. Some records may be preserved where law, security, fraud prevention or a legal claim requires it.

Hong Kong privacy resources

Where Hong Kong’s Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance applies, its Data Protection Principles address collection, accuracy and retention, use, security, transparency, access and correction. See the official PCPD overview of the six principles . This page is operational information, not individual legal advice.
